The 12th Annual London Lesbian Film Festival continues to promote visibility of our community. The cover art and program cover highlighted 12 exceptional women. They represented a variety of ages, occupations, ethnicities, and visions of themselves. At the same time, these womyn could represent anyone we know. Once again at Rainbow Cinemas, twenty-six films were shown, including the locally produced film Queering the Canon by London’s own Julie Glaser. Also screened was the film Little Sister’s vs. Big Brother, which was almost banned by the Attorney General’s Office in 2002. With the film screenings and an exciting woman’s dance, we successfully proved that we could come Out of the Shadows, and have fun!
