The Touch

Set in 1906, the film is based on a romance between Renee Vivien, a lesbian poet living in Paris and Kerime, a practicing Muslim woman and wife of a Turkish diplomat. It structures their last moments together around Renee’s poem, “The Touch” as they meet in a Paris park.
