An Important message from the LLFF President
Dear festival attendees, supporters, and filmmakers,
We are reaching out today to inform you that due to the current covid-19 pandemic, it is no longer possible to safely hold our festival this May 1-3.
This situation is unfortunate and presents some difficulties for our team going forward, but we remain passionate and invested in bringing our community together to celebrate lesbian identities and stories on screen.
We are taking the next few weeks to assess our options and see if it is feasible to postpone the festival until later this year, as some other events have already done.
The health and well-being of our community, and the importance of this festival to each of you, will be paramount in our decision making.
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and we hope you are keeping safe and well. For those of you working on the front lines, in healthcare, first responders, or are otherwise deemed essential and continue to work outside the home, please accept our sincere thanks for all you are doing.
We commit to keeping you informed and ask for your patience just awhile longer while we navigate this uncharted territory.
Debi DeMille
